To all Bowness High School Parents and Guardians,

Bowness Student Conferences are happening on Thursday, March 20 from 5:00-7:30pm and on Friday, March 21 from 9:00am-2:00pm. Due to the ongoing CUPE Job Action, all conferences will be online via MS Teams.

Booking for these conferences will open Thursday, March 13 at 6:00pm and end on Wednesday, March 19 at midnight.

 An email confirmation will be sent from the system once you’ve saved your booking. For online conferences, this email will have the link (“Join Microsoft Teams Meeting”) to join the conference. You will be admitted into the conference by the teacher at the time of your interview.

Some of our teachers have student-teachers in their classrooms. The conferences for these should be booked with their official, partner-teacher of the class. For Mrs. Williams in Science, please book with Mr. Makar, who is taking care of her class while she is on a leave. For Ms. Chaykowski's PE and Sports Medicine classes, please book with Mr. Allison, who has returned from his leave.

 There are also two “conference teams” who do their interviews together. These are:  

·                    Culinary Arts (Mr. Rob Fedosoff & Ms. Elana Levin)  

·                    Automotive Mechanics (Mr. Evan Roberts & Mr. Cody Price)

 All other teachers can be found under the list of “conference leads”.

 Finally, we encourage your student to join you in these conferences, as this facilitates better dialogue, even when online.
