Post-Secondary Institutes 

Every post-secondary institute offers a Scholarship and Awards Program for their students. When you apply online for admission, you will be asked if you would like to apply for their scholarships. It is important to pay attention to scholarship deadlines as they are often before post-secondary applications final due dates. Visit the school's website or contact their financial aid office for more information. 


The Government of Alberta 

In partnership with post-secondary institutions and community groups, the Alberta government offers dozens of scholarships, including the Alexander Rutherford High School Achievement Scholarship.

Personal and Family Companies/Organizations 

Your family members may work for companies or belong to clubs, services, cultural organizations, and unions that offer education awards for their members. Explore their websites or ask their human resources departments for details.
